Public discovery reads the EA Pro Clubs NHL API endpoints used by EA’s own club pages. NHL 27 discovery uses common-gen5, EA’s shared current generation pool. eHockeyPro is an independent community product and is not affiliated with Electronic Arts or the NHL. API availability and field coverage can change.
Freshness and missing data
Search requests and club snapshots are cached to reduce repeated API requests. Club detail refreshes check summaries, roster data, and the latest match feed. Each section can fail independently. Saved data stays visible with a freshness indicator. Missing numerical fields are shown as Not reported and are excluded from derived rates.
Rankings and comparisons
EA ranking points are shown without an invented skill score. The discovery leaderboard sorts the clubs eHockeyPro has found, including clubs from EA’s public leaderboard. It is labeled as discovered-club coverage rather than a complete global ranking. Side-by-side comparisons show reported figures and sample size. They do not predict a winner or imply betting odds.
Calculations
Games played for a club equals wins plus losses, overtime losses, and ties when those fields are reported. Win percentage is wins divided by games, multiplied by 100. Goals per game is goals divided by games. Skater points equals goals plus assists. Points per game uses skater games. Goalie save percentage uses saves divided by shots faced where both exist. No rate is computed with a zero denominator.
Public and private boundaries
Public discovery contains only selected EA club, player, and match fields. Customer email addresses, billing details, webhook credentials, roster eligibility rules, disputes, and review notes are never included. A private or password-protected league is not promoted in the public league directory. Tracking a public club does not confer ownership of the EA club.
Report a data problem
Send the club or game page URL, the relevant field, and the expected value to eHockeyPro support. Do not send passwords, webhook URLs, or billing information. A result may require an upstream EA correction; eHockeyPro can correct its presentation or calculation while keeping the source and decision history distinct.
