Give each system a clear job
Use Discord for team communication, availability, and announcements. Use eHockeyPro for captured games, roster checks, review decisions, and exports. Your public league hub gives players a stable place to find teams and saved results without opening the management workspace.
Connect a results channel
Create an incoming webhook for the Discord channel that should receive results, then save it in League Operations. Enable result posts only after checking the selected channel. Saved webhook credentials are not returned to the browser. New completed games are queued with delivery status and retries; mentions are disabled to prevent player names from pinging the server.
Set a roster and review policy
For each team, add the exact EA player names allowed in your competition. Game review compares the captured lineup with this list. Changes apply to future checks. Commissioners can flag a game, record a reason, and mark it reviewed after investigation. The original EA box score is preserved.
Close the loop after game night
Check failed syncs first, then flagged games, then exports. A delivery failure is different from a missing game: the saved result can still exist even if Discord could not receive it. Review the activity history to see which action ran and when. Avoid assuming that a green page load means every connected team was checked.
