Recent match feeds are not complete archives
The current eHockeyPro integration checks the latest five matches returned by EA. Games can leave that window before the next successful check. Saving a club today cannot reconstruct old box scores EA no longer exposes. Captured games remain in the saved season even after the live feed changes.
Turn on scheduled checks
In League Operations, enable automatic syncing for your connected teams. The queue checks a bounded number of teams on each run and records the last attempt, last successful check, and any error. During a busy session you can also use Check for new games. Scheduling depends on the site’s WordPress cron runner.
- Connect the correct NHL 27 club.
- Enable automatic syncing in League Operations.
- Check the Last successful sync indicator after playing.
- Review flagged games and export completed sheets.
Separate a new season from the old one
Use a unique season name when your competition starts again. Starting a new season preserves existing games and review history. Older seasons remain available in the Operations archive. The NHL edition is part of the storage identity, which prevents a reused match ID from replacing a prior game’s record.
Know when to check manually
If no new games appear, confirm the club identity and game mode, then inspect the API status. An unavailable feed preserves saved data but cannot capture games during the outage. Match capture cannot be guaranteed when more than the available recent window passes between successful checks.
